But what does that actually mean? Intentional mind management is the practice of consciously choosing your thoughts, focusing on the ones that serve your highest good, & letting go of the ones that don’t. It's about being aware of the stories you tell yourself & actively shifting them into empowering narratives.
In the Choose On Purpose podcast “Ep. 53 // Managing the Mind for Clarity & Alignment”, I walk you through a simple practice to become more mindful of your thoughts. It starts with asking yourself key questions:
- Is this thought serving me?
- Does this belief align with my goals?

Simply take 5 minutes to center yourself, focus on how you want to feel throughout the day, & get clear on your top priorities. When you lead with intention, you guide your mind toward clarity from the very beginning.
- Focus Blocks: Create blocks of time throughout your day where you are fully focused on one task at a time. This allows you to work on what matters most without feeling pulled in every direction. Turn off distractions, set a timer, & allow yourself to be fully present with the task at hand.
- Mindful Breaks: Sometimes, the best way to maintain clarity is to step away. Throughout the episode, I talk about the power of taking mindful breaks. This could mean getting outside, practicing a quick meditation, or simply stepping away from your work to breathe & reset.
